A translation service for Dynamic Weather Information.
Note: The XML Weather Server is currently offline, rendering this service unusable. Sorry.
The service accepts a URL to a properly namespaced (xmlns="http://weather.interceptvector.com/") XML file from the XML Weather Server (using the namespace parameter), and transforms it into RDF/XML, using the RSS and FoaF vocabularies.
The created RSS channel has an RSS item for each day (with forecasts marked as such), the temperature is shown in degrees Celsius as well as Fahrenheit, and icons showing the weather is added as foaf:depiction properties. The timezone in the XML file is assumed to always be EDT or EST, but other than that no date calculations are performed.
Example: Copenhagen weather and forecasts as RDF/XML (via the Syndication Subscription Service).
Note: Even though it's quite possible to subscribe to weather information through this service, please consider downloading the free XSLT source instead, and run the transformation on your own machine.
